Explorations in Pine Resin is a paperback book showcasing my research, experiments and discoveries from investigating the material over the last three years.
It ranges from research into the unique role pine resin has had in the expansion of colonial superpowers, to over 150 hands-on experiments, Fundamentally it presents the case for the material's contemporary resurgence. Utilising its anti-bacterial, waterproof, biodegradable and renewable properties to inform a new, greener way of making.
